Tail braid

I said I would post a photo next time I got around to braiding Vidas tail. Here is one I think its called a fish tail braid.
After you look at this one check out the funny one in horse photos under More funny horse pictures. Don't laugh too hard at me in my new helmet. I'm just getting used to wearing one

Thanks everyone
Amazingly we went for a 2 hour trail ride and it stayed in the whole time. As soon as I get a video camera I'll make one Its basicly a french braid but you just take small bits of hair from the back side into the center instead of a whole bunch of hair. I think the actual fish tail braid is done underhanded though. The hard part is keeping your hands close to the tail as you go down.

I think the fishtail is where you use only two pieces of hair instead of three.

I wish my horses tail hair was all the one length. When I braid any of their tails there are always stupid little sticky uppy bits everywhere :)

Your right Jazzy, a friend of mine corrected me too. He said its a fish bone braid. He has hair longer than mine and messes with it a lot (not gay) so he may be right. I can do a fish tail (2 stranded) on myself never tried on Vida I'll have to give it a shot
