I'm not a fan of them, put in right or not.
I'm not a fan of anything artificial to enhance the appearance or try to hide faults.
Remember when the fad was to have the tail at the hocks?
I like a natural looking horse, Peruvians are great, all natural, no shoes, no bridle path, nothing artificial.

I would NEVER show without one! It is really important that they match the horses natural tail and it is blended in well when it is put in. I think the tail makes the picture a lot prettier.

I do belive a nice full tail compliments the overall picture of the horse. If a horse wasn't blessed with a nice tail, a properlly put in one is the way to go.

I show arabs so obviously its out of the question for me
But friends of mine who show aqha or apha wouldn't be caught dead without one.
As long as their put in correctly and they match the natural tail color they enhance the look and perfect the overall picture.

    I'm not a fan.
Like other people have said, I don't like the idea of putting something on just to enhance looks.
But I don't really have a problem with other people using them though.

Just think of it as Makeup on a horse , some people rely on makeup to get through the day, and so does my horse :)

I only like fake tails when you use them in a halter class or something in hand. I think it looks kinda weird when you're under saddle. Its just my preferance. But I do agree if a horse wasn't blessed with a nice long tail it looks good.

I love them. I think they look good as long as they match and you can't tell. Any tips for putting them in right? I have one but don't use it very often because my horses tail is not that bad.
