Tail skin?

When I was giving my pony a bath today I was scrubbing her tail and noticed that there was a lot of dead skin like stuff it was like her skin pealed off it's still attached like her hair didn't grow out of her skin it's like her skin stayed with a certin part of the har and a new layer of skin came

That might be too confussing....



But if you understand....is this bad?? What can I do about it??

Thats giant dandruff. Lol. Just scrub it off as well as you can, use a moisturizing shampoo on it.

It could also be a fungus (nothing serious, don't panick! Lol) just find soem anti-fungal shampoo and scrub scrub scrub! A little tail wash as much as possible until it goes away would be best, but if you can't do it to often I don't think its that much of a big deal.
