Has anyone got any good tips for keeping tails tangle-free?! My mare has a very thick tail and no matter how much brushing and spray I use it's always just frizzy and dull ):
I love cowboy magic! All the horses I work with either have super long thick manes or tails. I pick everyone out by hand, I don't brush the tail then cowboy magic it. I put it in every couple days. It works wonders!!
I keep my mare's tail tied up so it doesn't get broken and get super dirty (since her tail is really long). But I also take it down and try to brush/pick through it every 2 weeks and wash it once a month. When you wash use lots of conditioner to help it stay moisturized. Also I swear by Cowboy Magic in between washings when I pick through it! :) Hope this helps!!
Thanks for the tips everyone! I always hear people talking about Cowboy Magic but I live in England and they don't sell it here ):
I might have to look online and try and get some shipped here though, really tempted to try some!
My friend gave me this Ezall Horse Detangler stuff, which I absolutely love. I am planning to buy some more when I run out for sure. I have also seen a big difference in the thickness of Casey's tail also..
