I like the thick look, it is the "in and over the eyes" I just can't take - it makes me feel an uncontrollable urge to get it out of their eyes, now! My appyX has such a thin but extremely silky mane and tail that would be so gorgeous if they were long and thick....it makes it to where I couldn't ever bring myself to thin my haffie's thick hair. I want "thick" on someone around here, by golly!

But it doesn't actually go in their eyes and makes a perfect deterrent for flies.

That is probably true. I can't stand my own hair obstructing my vision, so it annoys me to see her forelock obstructing her vision - far more than it annoys her, I am sure .
