What blanket after Clipping?

Not sure if this goes here. My bad if it doesn't :]

I'm having my horse clipped next weekend for the first time ever, and I know he needs to be blanketed afterwards, but I have no experience with blankets whatsoever.

What type of blanket do I need, and does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!

What is the weather like where you are at? That will depend on the type of blanket.

Choosing between European cut and Traditional cut will also make your break your horses comfort level. European cut blankets fit leaner horses with high withers, narrower chest. Traditional cut works great on your stocky qtr types.

Next is the fill that depends on the warmth. You also need to choose a blanket based of if they are outdoors or indoors. Will you need waterproof or can you just buy a quilted blanket?

Feel free to pop off any questions. I currently work for a blanket manufacture, I do this all day long.
