What colour horse makeup.?

Tess is a chestnut pinto. What colour makeup should I put around her eyes and mouth when showing? She has light chestnut around her eys and mouth, nearly palomino.
Should I use black, or redish black?
At the moment I am using baby oil just to make her look softer around the eyes and mouth.
I will put pics up when I have time.

I didn't realize this was something people did! Makeup on a horse? For what purpose?

Usually I just stick to baby oil, maybe a bit of black on a grey horse.. I've never used any brownish colours so I can't help you there.

Muck around at home with it and see what looks best
