Question What is pulling a mane??

Hey there! I don't understand what it is to pull a mane. If someone could explain, and add in why it is done and what do you get out of it... that would be nice. :)

Happy New YEAR!

Since I'm not very good at explaining, take a look here: How to Pull a Horse's Mane - wikiHow

Thank you it's clearer now. :) so basically pulling a mane keeps it thinner, shorter and neater to make it easier for showing and braiding.
