What Should I Do With Her Mane?

I posted a thread a few days ago asking about how much of Nelly's mane I should cut in order to braid it for show season How Much Should I Cut Off? . I got a lot of good advice and opinions. But now, with everyone's input, I'm at a crossroad. I can't make up my mind on what I should do with it now! What is everyone thoughts?

Roaching is not an option for her, apparently it's a crime

Thank you for feeding us years of lies. Thank you for the wars you left us to fight. Thank you for the world you ruined overnight. But we'll be fine, yeah we'll be fine.

I would say pull it and put it in little button braids. Leave the forelock as is, they don't have to be braided for local shows and it helps keep flies out of their eyes!

Well I'm a sucker for long manes. I'd have a hard time cutting that mane...so pretty. I'm in the same boat with one of my geldings. Honestly all I'm gonna do is a running braid I could never cut his mane after taking 3 years to grow it out. I would just cut it a few inches and then pull it so its easier to braid.

**I must not forget to thank the difficult horses, who made my life miserable, but who were better teachers than the well-behaved school horses who raised no problems.**
