Unhappy What should I do with her mane?

Got my 3 year old mini yesterday and apparently she has been in some barb wire fence Anyway now it looks like this..

What should I do with this mess? It's all different lengths and all over the place.
I'm leaning towards roaching it. Should I?

Just brush it out and trim the bad peices, or just trim it shorter, so the messed up peices and the other ones are even. It will grow back!
I love your mini!

I agree with roaching. She'll look super cute with a mohawk! She's really cute btw.

I would just wash it up put some MTG in it braid what you can to one side. It will grow back quite a bit over the winter if you take care of it. I would not roach it.

Nope, don't roach it. It will grow back too bushy.

Minis grow hugely prolific manes. Braid it to the side you want it to go to and just wait. It won't be long at all before it fills in and looks fine. You've never seen how fast minis can grow mane - especially at this time of year.

Good luck.

Wait for it to grow back, and then worry about trimming it to an even length and braiding it so it lays on one side. It'll be WAY easier when it's longer. Just be patient : ]

I would roach it, simply because I think it would be adorable and would look like a little trojan horse walkin' around.
