What should I do with his mane?!?

Okay, so I REALLY want to have my horse's mane in a mohawk style like this..

But I am afraid to do it and yeah..haha can you guys tell me if you think he could pull it off? I think he would look adorable, also- have any tips or whatever on how to do the mohawk? Thanks!

If you can wait a few months you could just roach it... other than that I don't know.

Ya I think you would have to roach it and then let it grow kind of like when you do a bridlepath and it grows back into a mohawk type thing

Yeah that's what I was thinking about doing! I just hate the thought of him having "no mane." for a few months!! XD

I roach my horse's mane once a year around mid-late spring. By summer she has a KICKIN' mohawk! Lol. Then again, she also has SUPER thick mane, sometimes I suspect that it's a double mane, and if I leave it long, it gets dreadlocks and oversweats her neck. It also helps that she has coarse hairs to begin with lol. All the better to stick up!

My horse currently has a Mohawk. That's mainly because I attack it with scissors every month or so. :P

Haha well my horse's mane is thick too! Though I decently keep it at a short-ish lenght 5 in? He gets HOT under it! I chickened out on roaching it today guys.. I want to but im scared? Hah! Help me!

Start out just roaching the bridal path or the area just above the withers. If you like it, just do it all the way up lol.

OR, just go on and do it. Seriously, by winter, it'll all be back lol

I say go for it! If you don't like it ITS HAIR it will grow back. :) this is sonas when I first roached hers. I think it brings out her neck!
