What should be on my list?

I'm compiling a list of things I need to get for my horse for tack and grooming.
Would anyone like to help me out?

I'm going to be starting right from nothing, and I don't want to buy a bunch of stuff I won't use, so I'm hoping you can help me list what items are necessary to get me started.

I've got a list of grooming tools made up , but what about saddle pads/blankets etc?

Can you recommend types or brands that are reasonably priced and for every day riding, just trail and normal farm stuff. I'm not showing or anything at this time, its just for pleasure, so they don't have to be show quality.
I just need stuff! LOL

Is it for english or western?

Dont know much about western tack but for grooming
You defo. Need these things:

Body brush
Hoof pick(s)
Rubber, plastic and metal curry combs
Dandy/ flick brush
^they are needed
Others-
Sweat scraper
Stable rubber
Hoof oil

If you don't know what any of these things are just say!

Desitin is the one thing I always keep on hand.

I would get a few diff types of pads. I prefer matching tack.

I get buy on purchasing very little extra stuff. I forget what I have and I am a horder, so if I don't let myself buy im fine. My biggest purchases were my horses and my trailer.
