^^ You can make one yourself for a lot cheaper. You just need a fine toothed hacksaw blade and put it in a piece of wood. Almost identical.

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/

rubber mitt works, so does a metal curry, but be more gentle with the metal one as some horses object to the teeth. also a light rug makes the hair come out easier and faster.

Wear your new and expensive non-riding clothes to the barn/paddock... Your horse will molt the best and fastest you have ever seen

OK, so the N-hemisphere horses are shedding - now, what are with doing with the hair?

So, I'm imagining the truckloads of horse hair being shed off by moulting horses all over the Northern hemisphere. I'm looking for creative uses for it. I'm thinking stuff pillows with it, make felt etc. Obviously, leave some for the birdies too. But anyone here ever spun horse hair? Made a woven, knitted or felted garment from horse hair?

At our agricultural show I met a lady who made woolen yarn from the shed undercoat of her Border Collie and knitted it into a jumper. What can we horse people do? I'm looking for both actual creative uses people here have heard about or done themselves, as well as pure speculation... Ideas anyone?

Maybe bundle it and donate it to a place that uses hair to soak up oil spills in the oceans? :)
