white or black?

Hey,

So my white horse is not very white right now. I was wondering if there was a really nice shampoo or something specifically for white hair, because no matter how long I soak her mane and tail it allways stays icky poop colored! If you could help and suggest something that would be awesome!

Can't remember the name, but I use a really dark purple colored shampoo on my horse's mane and tail and legs, and let it sit for about five minutes and rinse it off. Works wonders. I hear if you leave it on too long though, it'll dye the purple, not sure how true that is, and purple is better than poo-colored anyway, right? Haha. =]

Quick silver is good for white horses. Leave it for 3 min on the body an 10 to 15 on mane an tail to whiten it.

Quick Silver is amazing for white horses/horses with white spots or hair. It's purple. Make sure not to leave it on for too long

I use quick silver on any socks and stars as well as my old pony's flaxen mane and tail to make it brighter
It works awesome! You definitely don't want to leave it in too long but you can leave it in for awhile..

I've also had good results with Purple Power - seems to be the same type of shampoo...

If quick sliver doesnt work, I really like Cowboy Magic Yellow Out. I think that it makes everything even whiter! I know that there is a new shampoo called Gallop for gray horses. The brand (although I can't think of it right now) is a really really good brand name, but I have never used it.

Groomers GOOP or regular white GOOP. Rub it into dry hair, leave it for five minuts, add whatever shampoo you like, lather it up really well, then rinse and witness a miracle. It doesn't have any harsh chemicals, but it does strip the hair of oils, so using a quality conditioner is recommended if you use regular GOOP. The Groomer's GOOP has E vitamins and things in it so it moisturizes automatically.

White n brite, it is a dark purple shampoo, don't leave it on for very lone 3-5 minutes, out it on and rub it in and take it off asap, so it doesnt leave a blue stain on ur horse, I have an appaloosa and it does wonders on her white blanket
