Winter Hair in the Summer!?!?!?!?!????

Our Yearling has grown winter hair in June and we took her to the vet and she had a parasite but thats taken care of now and we gave her a "Slick Shot" but it hasn't helped and we also had her tube wormed..... Does anybody have any suggestions on how to get all the hair off???

Thanks

you should call the vet and tell him/her about your foal, there could be some more health issues there.

also how hot or cold is it where you live?

They say shes all fine now she had a parasite and needed to be wormed....(Thats one reason why we cant trust leaviing the care of our horses to someone else)....And its around 95 to 100 degrees here now cuz were on the Texas Coast.

You blame the parasite because someone else was taking care of your horse? How would the other person have given your horse a parasite?!

The Parasite is caused from your horse drinking out of water with poop in it.... The person we left in charge didnt change her water out when she desided to leave her waste in it instead they just kept filling it up.
