Default Would this braid look good?

Friesian Dressage 2 on Flickr - Photo Sharing!

What would it look like if you braided each individual section before you French braided it? Would that look neat and intricate, or would it just look like a big mess?

I love that braid, but it also doesn't last very long. I think it would stay in longer this way.

I think it would look neat so long as your horse's mane is long enough to do it, and the ends of all the individual braids get tucked under really well. Otherwise you're going to have little pieces spitting out here and there.

But I think if you do it right, it'll look great.

Also will add that your horse's mane will probably have to be really thin, too--if you did that with a friesian mane the end result would probably look VERY bulky!

without the problems mentioned above I would say it would look messy...I have tried to braid my sisters hair like that and it just looked messy (but that could be due to my lack of braiding skills lol)
