2 yo with clicking hock

What could be the cause for a clicking/ catching hock in a 2yo? And a remedy? Thanks!

Sure it's not his stifle?

Could be anything, but regardless, it deserves a vet visit and probably a radiographic workup. Early-onset arthritis, soft tissue problems, OCD, bone fracture...
