    I have a four yr old thoroughbred that is allergic to wheat and barley which means he can't have any normal nuts or mix. He gets alfa a oil and sugar beet but he doesnt like sugarbeet, any ideas of any feed to give him without wheat or barley in

    Orchard grass

    Try Orchard grass or rye grass

    When I could no longer feed alfalfa I went to orchard grass and rye grass..

    Can he eat rolled oats and corn? Make your own grain mix that includes the things that he isn't allergic to. If he doesn't like on ingredient then stop using it and find something else. Rice bran may be goo for him too.
