Alternative Medicine For Horses

Hi there,
So I have decided that I would like to open a store. I am really into natural and alternative ways of living. I also use it on my horse. I am wondering what your view on it is. Would you ever be willing to use organic and natural medicines instead of Vet prescribed medicines on your horsE?

I think that's an excellent idea. I think it really depends on your area, and what the people are into. We have a barn with 60+ horses and we def try to use alternative ways when we can. We do a ton of homeopathics, natural herbs, & natural medicines.
I would first research in your area if people would be interested.
The interest is definately out there though! :)

In riding, a horse's energy is like a river- guided by the banks but not stopped by them.

I DO use natural/organic methods, natural herbs etc.. on our horses here before getting veterinary prescribed medicine in certain cases. We also do this with ourselves, my famous line is "Your body is not telling you its low on Advil...." I think a store of these things for horses would be a great idea.

I'm currently studying a diploma in equine naturopathy and I love it!

My horses are all the better for it as well. The improvememnts are just astounding!

There are cirtain circumstances where I wouldnt hesitate to call in my normal vet but they are few and far between.
