I have a TB who developed anhidrosis last summer. Every body else would have sweat dripping off them and he was dry as a bone. His breathing would get heavy and if I didn't get him cold hosed he'd go down. The first time it happened his temp was 105 after 20 minutes of cold hosing when the vet got here. Since then I keep really close watch on him it the temp is above 90.
The vet diagnosed him and told me to give him a Guinness beer twice a day until I could start him on One AC last year. It helped alot. He started sweating some and had no more signs of heat stroke.
Before the temps got too high this year I put him back on the One AC. So far with heat indexes at 110+ we have had no problems. I still cold hose him and everybody else once a day but for comfort not nessecity.
I get it from Amazon
.com but you can order it different places and it isn't expensive. For a mini the jar would no doubt last all summer. Check with your vet. I think the stuff is worth its weight in gold!
