Another name that lameness

We've owned her for about a year, she was a broodmare until I started her under saddle as my husbands riding horse last fall. Has maybe twenty rides on her and I never noticed her being tender. We haven't ridden her since December because of the icy winter and now this. She could have been just ever so slightly off as far back as February. I thought I saw an off step every now and then but nothing ever appeared ‘off’ when I would further check her out. Mid March she started to be this sore. Crossed my fingers and hoped an abscess would pop out but nothing. An appointment has been made for her a week back, she will be hauled to the veterinarian on the 13th.

For the life of me I am not sure what is hurting. My first thought was feet way back in late February when we thought she “might” be tender. More recently I’ve wondered about her shoulder, the chiropractor is on vacation until the end of this month but is scheduled to come out after the vet visit. She has no leg swelling and no heat in her feet or legs. What looks sore?
