/sigh...I guess it's just not my time to add a second pony

On a happier note, Bug, who I now know is really named Duke, went home with his real family today. It seems like a mom and 2 young girls ( 7 & 11 ) have been missing their much loved horse for quite some time.

Long story short, let's just say "some men should not be allowed to be fathers"

Bugs reaction to seeing the 11 year old, and lot's of pictures of much happier times proved beyond a doubt he is indeed their horse...

I'm sad, but grateful that he is truly going "home". And grateful that I had a couple weeks to get him looking healthier, those kids would have been devastated to see him when I first got him in. Oh yeah, just to make absolutely clear, they had nothing to do with him getting in the condition he was found in.

Anyway, absolutely wonderful turn of events for the Bug, aka Duke, as well as a mom and 2 great kids!

Green Broke
Aww.. sad for you, but isn't it nice to return a much loved animal back to their owners? I'm glad he had already put some weight back on, so the girls didn't have to see his original condition. If you're looking for a nice second horse have you seen the youngster BadWolf has for sale there in KY? He says he's negotiable on the price, mainly wants her to get a good home. Nova-she's gaited!
