Any experience with aromatherapy or herbal mixtures?

My 2 nearly 3 y/o ottb cribs.. she hasn't always cribbed. Just in the last few months it started. I just got her a week ago.. I'm desperate to find aanything to help.
She has a collar now so she isn't cribbing at this time.. and she doesn't crib when she has food or is outside. I have a miracle collar with the fleece covers on order. As well as a small hole haynet. She has 2 Jollyballs one hanging one on the ground. I've yet to see her play with either :/.
While reading online I noticed aromatherapy mentioned as well as herbal mixtures...I was wondering if anyone has had any luck with this? I suppose it's to calm the horse so it isn't so bored that it cribs?

Unfortunately there is no magic cure for cribbing. My best advise is keep him entertained (either let him stay outside or give lots of hay in stall to keep him busy).
