Any remedies that have worked or will help :)

Hi, I have recently aquired a old horse for my daughter to learn on, knowing that she (the horse) has sarcoids, tho she only has 2, 1 is bad on her back inner leg, (poor girl), I feel bad and would love to help reduce the inflammation, there is nothing wrong with her aprt from her sarcoids, if there is anyone out there that could help me in any treament for her to reduce them, I would be very grateful.
I have done quite a bit of research, but am in 2 states in the most non-painless and invasive treatment. Thankyou

    .

My Belgian developed a sarcoid about 2 years old on her shoulder, it was about and inch in diameter and the vet said he could freeze it off or it may go away, he said even with freezing it could return.

By about 4 years old it disappeared on it own and has not returned.

Of course there are 4 or 5 types of sarcoids and they can be in numerous places on your Horse and severity varies greatly, we were lucky with our outcome.

A Vet Exam should be done on your Horse because some forms of Sarcoids can be very bad.....

There is a lady on another forum who chronicled the treatment of sarcoids that kept returning in/near her mare's eye.

The vet was involved thru the entire process and there were a combination of things that done/given to the horse, including surgery and a special diet.

You need to get the vet involved
