Why couldn't it have happened in the winter!! Cry Cry Cry....
DMSO so ordered the vet. I made a salve of olive oil, DMSO, tea tree oil and peppermint and apply to his leg twice daily. Bute, too, of course. He is 22 so it isn't an issue with me since I only trail ride. I can hand walk him for mind soundness... he hates being cooped up but I have him in an outside rail stall so he can see his buddies to quiet him.. Back to vet in a month... if this doesn't work..........??
Anyone else ever have this happen?
