I will try to take some good picture this afternoon. It's hard for me to take pictures of him though because usually I'm the only one out there and he likes to dance in the crossties.

Sorry if im repeating:)

But I think it completely depends on the horse. I have one mare who I try to keep on a strict 8 week schedule because it took me A LONG time to get her feet to where they are now. Our other mare has harder feet that don't grow so fast, so other than She just gets done when the other girl gets done,i wouldnt have a qualms about letting her go to 12 weeks. If in doubt maybe just have another farrier out to take a look.
