bagging up

I have a mare due at the end of the month. Yesterday she was starting to bag up and started looking uncomfertble, slightly holding her tail up. Today when I went to check on her, she didn't seemed bagged up at all....tried to call my vet but is out of the office untill monday.

She's acting pretty normal at this point. Nothing to worry about.

I agree :) I have one due the 27th and she is bagging up some already and getting looser around her tail...just waiting to see that baby "V" and meet my new 4 legged friend

Sorry not hijacking thread but just wondered what you mean by the 'v' is this when the mare's belly goes to a low point in the middle?

^yep, exactly. When they go from looking like a giant balloon to having a sharp low point\"V" shape. My mare that I'm waiting on is grey and looks like a giant marshmallow right now!
