    Before show days I give all of mine a can of guiness gives them more fizz the next day never heard of it for shedding though

    I don't think mine would drink the cheap beer. She'd only go for the snobby microbrews. Like me. :)

    Hmmm, I would have to steal the beer from Mr. AB. I am sure he does not want to share his beer with the horses.

    Aside from the amusement factor of this, why is everyone in such a hurry for horses to shed? Surely they do it in their own time, because it is still colder at night?

    I could see it being useful for a show or a Cushings horse, but otherwise why not just let them do it in their own time?

    Well, I had one in MD years ago-sweating his butt off and just not shedding. Abnormal, truly, but it was the first season I had him. I put it in his feed, he wasn't particular about temp as I recall.
