It looks like they still need more weight on their topline and their butts rounded out more.I think Delilah still needs about other 100 lbs. But it is hard to tell from the pics. How old are they?

Have you try alfafa hay? I have a 25 yr.old that was a rescue, I am giving him alfafa hay and 2 scoops a day of calf manna, it is working out really good, his topline is really close to being filled in.

Jasper looks better but could still do with some more weight, Delilah still has a poverty line so has a long way to go yet

Both could use a couple hundred pounds in my opinion BUT they're older so that might be part of the topline n stuff.

Poverty line meaning looking like they are homeless/don't eat.

I would say they both need a min of at least 100lbs on them. I definitely see improvement though.

I would agree with nldiaz66, they need about a hundred to a hundred and fifty pounds on her topline, ribs, and their butts. If you want them to gain weight a little bit faster, try soaking some beetpulp in water and giving her that, I had a 28 year old gelding that was very thin and I fed him that and it majorly helped him put the weight on.

As the others have said 100 pounds or so each.

Wanted to add that after only a month you can't expect to see miracles. I would rather see steady weight gain over a period of a several months combined with light exercise to help add some muscle.

You've done a good job so far!
