    Thanks!!! They get hay 3x a day and a scoop of equine senior 3x a day. I just swiched them to horse 10 by blue seal

    Did you have them on purina equine senior? Is blue seal cheaper? I have my older horse on Purina equine senior and boy that stuff is expensive at 17.00 a bag, but he LOVES it and its really doing the job, he's put on about 100 lbs. In the 2 months I've had him

    I look at the blue seal horse 10, I think you need something with more protein and fat in their diet, you should check out the Charger or Pacer Sweet feed that blue seal has out, just my opinion.

    The blue seal was 12 a bag. The Purina was 18 a bag. I swiched them till I get payed which is on thursday. Its like a semi-sweet feed which I wanted to try for jaspers hyperness

    Make sure when you are switching to do it gradually over a period of a week or two. You shouldn't keep switching back and forth between different feeds.

    I know. They are getting a half a scoop for like 5 days then a full scoop. But thanks for the info!!

    What should I put jasper on for maintainance? Like half a scoop of ES and a Scoop of Alfalfa Pellets?
