Best Supplements?

In your opinion, what are the best supplements for joints and hooves that are not gonna cost me a fortune?

in my opinion you get what you pay for...

I like Recovery Eq...but personally Im always paranoid that they will miss or not eat the supplements...or they won't get absorbed by the I just reccomend going to the vet and getting a dose of Legend Over the long run it costs less...absorbed more...and you know that it is getting to the joint.

for hooves I like the basic horseshoer's secret brand

Joint Check has worked well with our horses and anyones horses we have gave this supplement to. Its from Dr. Dan Moore. The site is

I would recommend Red-Cal as well.. its awesome!

The best HOOF supplement is a good feeding and trimming program PERIOD ... look for a feed that has good amino acids and vitamin/mineral profile

the joints I can't help on ...

I use horseshoers secret personally on my problem horses feet and the results are amazing! but im not sure about a joint supplement

keep in mind that legend injections only last for 96 hours (yep, really!) so if you go that route, be sure to keep up with it!

For years, I have used a combo of generic glucosamine + msm + HA (hyluronic acid) works great for my guys.
