Betadine question

Can it be used on humans? I tried looking it up online and couldn't really find an answer.

The betadine I use was purchased at the drug store, for humans.. ;) Betadine scrub is used before surgery. Betadine solution is used as any iodine based product would be. Human, animal alike.

Ok thank you! I'm trying to figure out something to clean my husbands cuts out with. The hospital told him to use peroxide!! I said no way and that I'd find something else for him to use.

I use peroxide on cuts. As a matter of fact on occasion I have a cut that seems to not want to respond to antibiotic cream etc and I just pour HP on it several days and it clears up.. ;) Just goes to show....
