Got Dustys teeth floated. Doc said they looked horrible! I've only had hiim bout two months so don't know what he is like when he isn't in pain. Large hooks on jaw teeth and it looked like the inside of a sharks mouth. Doc said he couldn't say it wasn't behavior but can't imagine riding him the way they where. I'm hopeful! Thanks for the prayers. My quarter horse duce had his done to... Meds gave him heck! Limp as a dish towel... Poor guy!

Thank goodness you got them seen to then by the sounds of that! Did he have ulcers because of that?
They look funny when they're drugged up though, it took 3 people to hold up my mini when she got hers done poor girl.

Hopefully that will have fixed it then, I imagine he would still headtoss for a little bit though, my farrier said to me once that they have to think they're not in pain before they stop acting like it, which makes sense to me.

I'm trying to keep my expectations low. I want to believe that the pain was the issue but who knows. Yes they had cut the inside of his mouth. I found blood in his mouth two days ago and am certain that was the cause. Doc said he felt like the bit was only adding to the pressure the hooks caused on his jaws. Basically he had a mouth full of sharp mis shaped teeth. Looks so much better now! It's probally just me but he already seems less stressed. My wife has made fun of me for being so careful with him but I knew something was wrong with him.
