Black Nightshade in my pasture!

I'm pretty positive there is Black Nightshade in my pasture. It's been there for awhile. It's deadly to horses, yes? Quick deadly or slow deadly? With Gracie's swollen jowls I can't help but wonder if she nibbles on it occasionally? Or would that have killed her already?

My understanding is that nightshade is linked with colic symptoms.
