Bloody Noses

Hi I just have a quick question. My gelding came in from the field this afternoon with crusted blood in his nostrile. He didnt have any cuts so it came from within. He has never had one before. Anything to be concerned about? I am not unless he gets another one. The other two geldings he is out with don't kick so not concerned about that.

He will get it from dry air and maybe from something that got jammed in his nose (like a piece of hay). Nothing to be concerned about, especially since the bleeding is stopped. Horses generally don't get bloody noses from trauma (like people do).

Might have bumped it. If it happens again, I would be more concerned.
