Body score and comformation?

Hehe I'm just curious what people would rate my monster at on a body score scale. I have just talked to a vet and begun to fix her diet - If anyone notices anything about her conformation please feel free to let me know I don't know a whole ton about that what's good/bad. I know the photos aren't great but here she is... in all her glory :P

After a bath :P She was not pleased:

ETA: I just realized none of those showed off her gloriously huge behind:

Anything over a 5 is almost imossible to tell from a picture. Although, going off her shoulder, I'd guess high 7/ low 8.

Good point, i was trying to get some pics that showed her 'bulges' xD
I always ride bareback and she has what I call 'built in knee rolls' :P

She is gorgeous. Seems balanced, has a good amount of bone, short back. It's hard to say much about her legs, but she does have a steep croup. Whag breed is she?

It's not ideal in the stock breeds, but it's fairly common. At least you see it mentioned pretty frequently in the conformation threads.

It's just her, and she is a beautiful tank! I'll post a pic later of my little project mare who's croup is even steeper.

What does it mean though for them? does it affect the weight they can carry or what styles of work they can do well? (I like learning about this :P)

Thanks so much ^^

I'm not sure, but I'll go ask in the confo threads. I know length of croup affects length of stride, and some breeds like a more sloped croup than others.

I am not convinced her croup is really that steep. She is too fleshy to tell. I'd have to physically palpate point of hip and point of buttocks to get an accurate assessment. She may just have a low tail set that gives the illusion of a steep croup along with that "line" that appears in the photo across her hip.

She looks very "drafty" in these pics and a steeper croup is not unusual in draft breeds as it gives them leverage to pull equipment. However, while a Candadian Horse should be stout and compact, this mare in particular looks overweight for her breed standards. She is beautiful, too, just needs to lose a few pounds.
