I don't. But I would be calling the doctor "five minutes ago" and probably still be gagging a month from now, whether I needed to or not-------

Please don't say that happened to you---------------ack!

No, I haven't eaten any that I know of. If you didn't read my post above about scrapping them off on a windy day and having a glass of coke nearby. I can see how they could easily be ingested by humans. Ack is right. :P I'm just curious if anyone knows if they will hatch in humans.

I remember that now that you mention it. I had forgotten so didn't make the connection because I'm old and I've slept a few times since that post

The link below is one of the better medical descriptions of the life cycle of bot flies and eggs. I say better because I can read it with my high school education and actually understand it

If you cursor clear down to the end of the article, the next to the last paragraph, it is titled "Bots and Humans." I could repeat what it says, but suspense is good once in awhile :P

The whole article is gross but it's a good read

This is enough for me. My skin is crawling, 4:45AM rolls around quick, so I am off to the shower with a wire brush and then hit jammie land

Oh geesh, thanks for that. I'm a little dirty mouth phobic anyway, now I have to bump my teeth brushing up to 6 times a day. I think I'm going to put a bottle of Listerine in my tack box.
