    Bowed Tendon?

Just curious, how does a horse bow a tendon and how can you prevent it. Thanks!

I believe you can bow a tendon by wrapping polo wraps wrong.

Tendons can bow when they get stressed or over-stretched. Running a horse too hard, footing too soft or deep, or wrapping their legs wrong can cause it.
Proper conditioning, and experience knowing how hard a particular horse can work will prevent it. (and be careful with those leg wraps!)
