Post Breed Health Survey

Help wanted from horse owners of ANY breed!

Are you a horse owner interested in the health and wellness of the beautiful and historic Friesian breed?

The Friesian Health Survey and research project has been developed to begin cataloguing the types of health issues which generally affect Friesian horses. The goal is to pinpoint the ailments most common to Friesians and to encourage further research into the causes, treatment and prevention of specific issues which detrimentally affect the breed.
The only catch is, we need your help! In order for this survey to provide useful information and results to the Friesian community, we are going to need ALOT of survey submissions from both Friesian owners and non-Friesian horse owners. The more we have, the more accurate the results can be.

The General Horse Health Survey serves as a control group for comparison with the Friesian breed-specific results. That means, that if you are the owner of a non-Friesian horse, living or deceased and whether or not they have ever had health issues, we would love it if you took the time to fill out this survey. The results from this survey are just as important as the Friesian-specific survey, since they help to establish the health norms of the horse population as a whole. If you have any questions, feel free to send any inquiries to friesiancrazy@gmail.com, or consult our FAQ section of our website.

Take the General Horse Health Survey

RAFFLE

Every owner who submits their contact information with either the Friesian Health or General Horse Health survey will automatically have their name entered into a raffle, to be drawn at the conclusion of the survey collection this fall. Prizes currently include a lovely sterling silver Friesian necklace by Susan Werner of Dragons Fly Designs. Susan's pendants are one of a kind, each one made by hand, and are perfect for Friesian lovers. Custom pendants based upon photographs of your own horse or pet are also offered. Take a look at pendants from Dragons Fly Designs at her new website: [http://www.dragonsflydesign.com].

If you are an artist interested in gaining some exposure by offering a piece of your work in the raffle, please drop me an e-mail for more information: friesiancrazy@gmail.com. Thank you.

Thank you so much for your help!
