Bump on Face

Hi! My horse has a cut and now a bump on her nose. I noticed it about a week ago, and when it first appeared, it was just a very clean cut. Then about 3 days later a big bump apeared. This bump is hard and gives off little to no heat. It has been a week, and the bump has not gotten any smaller or bigger. I have put a cold towel on it a few times to see if it would help, but it has not. Does anyone have any experience with hard bumps? It almost seems like it should be filled fluid, but it has always just been a hard bump!
Thanks,
Jenn

Is it a bump of skin?? Like something growing from the skin? If so then it may be a cancer bump, don't worry, it's not life threatening but it will need to be burnt off and attended to by your vet. Check your horse for any other simular bumps but the best thing to do is consult a vet.
