bumps on legs

So the past few days I've felt a bump on each frunt leg on the inside of my paint horses llegs. Te are close to his knee but a few inches below. I was wondering what they could be.

He's ridden twice a week when its nice and lunged everyday its 10 degrees out (not often lately) all of them are outside 24/7 with the option of going into out 56 by 64 barn where water is. They have 3 bales to eat in about an acre to acre and a half to be in.

Splints, as long as they are not sore, they are no problem. They're very common.

I have no pictures I will tomorrow. I can feel them and all he does is touches me with his noses and fallows my hands with his nose. He has been growing fast he was 15.2hh in may/june now he's close to 16.3hh in december. We are going to make a small pasture in our barn so he's not runni.ng around outside.

Splints... my horse popped one, had to have it freeze fired because it was so close to the tendon. Luckily called vet out to take a look, said if it had gone on any longer without the treatment that it would have reached the tendon and required surgery.. never a bad idea to have the vet come out and take a look (= good luck!
