Can they be prego if in season all the time

I put my mare in with a stallion and she is really fat right now. She was served three times and she is always in season and squirting in my geldings face. Does anyone know if they can still come in season if they are pregnant?
    Thank you

It's funny though, but my mare behaves like she's in season whenever there are several geldings around. She show them her butt etc. May be it's just the way she is... :)

Yes, definitely. Most mares don't cycle when they are preg. But some do continue to cycle. Crazy girls!

I would go for an ultrasound, that way you will know for sure. And can rule out false pregnancy, or tumor of some kind.

I agree. We have a couple of mares that do this, and they must be seperated from the stallion. Constant breeding can introduce microorganisms into the mare which can cause her to abort. It can also injure the mare if she is not truly in season.

Get your girl checked. After all that time she should be pregnant. If not, there may be a problem with her. Either way, you will want to know.
