Unhappy Candy is lame :(

I was riding her yesterday and after 10 minutes she went lame. We were trotting and she suddenly rushed as if something scared her or like she rushes when she trips. But she didn't trip... Well I went down immediatly, because limping was quite obvious, but I couldn't find anything wrong with her that day or today. No part of her is swollen or warm or injured. She'll rest for some time now and I hope she'll be better in few days. I really don't like this kind of lame horse... When I can't tell which part hurts!
When should I call vet if she doesn't get better?

I don't like any kind of lame horse personally Could be a stone bruise, pulled something... or.... who knows. If she's not better in a few days of rest(wouldn't lock her up tho) or so, I'd get onto the vet. I wouldnt leave it longer than a week max without attention.

Thanks :)
I let her out on the field, so she can move. She always trots in the beggining but she didn't yesterday, so that means something hurts. After few hours I get her back in the stable and I checked how she walks and trots and it was better. It wasn't obvious, and if I didn't know how she walks normally, I'd say she's fine. When she was out in the evening she also trotted agressively to get pony away from hay, but when I get her back in the stable she was back to obviously lame. This morning she's almost fine... We'll see how she'll do in the evening.

Is there any scale about lameness?

Last year something similiar happened, although not when I was riding. She was ok in 8 days though...

You'll have people telling you to call the vet right away and others to wait for a few days. This, ultimatly is a judgement call that only you can make based on how well you know this horse. This is what I would do. Go check on your horse today, if the lamness is worse, call the vet right away. If it is the same wait a day or two and if there is NO improvment, call the vet. If it is a stone bruise you should see some signs of improvment in a couple of days.

If you see no change by Wednesday afternoon, call the vet to come out thursday.

She's better today, although not completly normal. I hope it won't get back to obvious lameness like it did yesterday evening...
