    Using the diaper rash cream seems to be working great I got one of the alpacas and its done the trick thanks for the advice

    With the rash cream and the Alpaca, it is a bit of a struggle to keep the girth creamy stuff free. Right now, I just use our garden hose with a decent pressure nozzle on it to rinse the girth off every couple of rides.

    Did you get ring guards for your Alpaca? I went with the Cashel ones and they not only were reasonable price wise, but they are easy to use and keep clean. I'm not a fan of neoprene generally - But this isn't really enough to cause me any more grief. I see that Cashel are making sheepskin ones now.
