Question Clearing up scars??

I have a brown australian stock horse mare who has a rather large scar on her hip. We think she rubbed herself in the float but we aren't sure. However I was wondering if anyone has anything that helps scars to heal?
Thanks,
Kat

How long ago did this injury happen? How bad an injury was it (just a scrape or full on skin removal)? Do you have a picture of it that you could share?
