Cloudy Eye?

Has anyone ever had a horse with a cloudy eye? We have found a good horse but he has a cloudy eye and warts in one of his ears. We know he has had the cloudy eye for over 5 years and it doesn't seem to bother him. Is this something to stay away from or is this fairly common? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

He could have a cataract??? Wich causes them to not to be able to see out of that eye. If it does not seem to bother him then I wouldnt worry about it.

It depends on where the cloudiness is---inside the eye or on the cornea. It would be a good idea to have your vet perform a pre-purchase exam and get a professional opinion from someone who can actually see the eye before making a choice.
