Coggins Test Results

Hey all,

I just got my horse's Coggins results in. He's negative, but on the form there is also an area for "AGID" and "ELISA". I think this just refers to the method used in testing, but I just want to make sure it has nothing to do with the actual test results themselves. Can anyone clarify? Thanks!

The Coggins agar gel immunodiffusion test (AGID) and a competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (cELISA) are recognized by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) as valid and reliable for the diagnosis of EIA.
