Covering hind leg injury?

My 15yo show jumper tb has recently been through quite an ordeal with his left hind leg. He had a preexisting scar down the front of his cannon bone from his racing days. In October of 2011 he developed cellulitis, which burst open the scar tissue from all the swelling. The wound kept opening further down the leg until it was a very severe injury. He was on stall rest until a few weeks ago while the leg healed from a skin graft surgery he had in January. There is now a nice fresh layer of new scar tissue and everything is mostly healed, but obviously the new tissue is very delicate and the area will always continue to be fragile. He is currently still going out in a bandage, but I need to come up with ideas for a boot for the hind leg that can be used for turnout to protect the area. The injury is just below the hock, starting at the top of the cannon bone and extending down. Polo wraps do not work for turn out as they just get soggy! Any suggestions of a hind leg boot suitable for turnout that would cover almost up to the hock would be appreciated! Thanks!
