Daughter's Mare Has Mysterious Lameness

THe more I look at the photo of Honey the more I think it could possibly be shoulder. Did the vet check her shoulder when he was there? Now I am curious to know how you make out. Hope you let us know.

Sorry for the delay in updating.

The vet found soreness in her heel in the right front hoof. Her right elbow was out and she popped it back in. The sound was awful. She adjusted her and she was very sore EVERYWHERE. The lameness is gone with stall rest, adjustment and no med's.

We are doing stretching exercises and started her back under saddle. The vet even cleared her for the ACTHA CTC ride this weekend.

My daughter is extremly happy that nothing serious was wrong and she will be able to ride this weekend and finish out the series.

Wow. I wonder how she threw her elbow out. Did it not look funny when it was out of place?
