dehydration

I was just wondering if anyone on here has ever delt with a mildly dehydrated horse. I understand the skin tugor test and CRT with the mucous membranes and everything. I have routinely checked all my horses. However I also know sunken eyes is also a symptom of dehydration. One of my horses has checked clean in all other areas except his eyes seem awefully sunken in for some reason tonight. Appitite is good and he is alert, no fever or anything else really outstanding. What else could be causing this?
